Portuguese Verb Blitz – the conjugation reference and practice app with the tiny (<2mb) footprint!
Learn and practise Portuguese verbs with this interactive verb reference. With scores of commonly used regular and irregular verbs presented fully conjugated, Portuguese Verb Blitz is a clear and effective way to refresh and revise your grammar skills, as well as expand your Portuguese vocabulary.
As well as a verb reference, there are four intensive verb drill activities to quiz yourself on your conjugation knowledge:
– Infinitive quiz: do you know the meaning of the each verb?
– Conjugation quiz: can you select the correct verb form for a given pronoun?
– Snap quiz: can you spot when the Portuguese and English sentences match? Try to get ten in a row!
– Gapfill: can you spell out the missing word in the conjugated sentence?
In each game, you can choose to play with just your ticked verbs, or, for an extra challenge, the whole bank of verbs. The app will even track your performance throughout the games, so you can check at any time the entries you’re finding trickiest.
Mindful of both learners of European and Brazilian Portuguese, the app includes full paradigms for each verb, including the vós form. However, if you don’t want to play with vós, it’s easily turned off in the app settings!
The verbs selected represent some of the most commonly used Portuguese words, so Portuguese Verb Blitz is a great way to increase and practise your everyday vocabulary, too!
